Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our wholesale trading team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls, processing orders accurately, and coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming customer calls in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, order placement, pricing, availability, and general support.
• Accurately enter and print customer orders using the company’s order management system.
• Verify order details to ensure accuracy before processing.
• Coordinate closely with the warehouse/floor team to ensure customer orders are prepared correctly and on schedule.
• Monitor the status of orders and promptly address any discrepancies or delays.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding order updates, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within the system.
• Work collaboratively with the sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to provide excellent customer service.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally, escalating when necessary.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is an advantage.
• Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or wholesale distribution is preferred.
• Experience in the food, grocery, or FMCG industry is an asset.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and order entry software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
