Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations. The role includes recording transactions, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions (cash, bank, expenses, invoices)
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and cash balances
- Support accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
- Assist in tax declarations (VAT, etc. ) under supervision
- Support month-end closing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting
- Basic knowledge of OHADA accounting system
- Good command of French (English is a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus
